The black and white stand for two opposing forces: Eg Day and Night, Life and Death, and Matter and emptiness are all physical manifestations of Yin and Yang/Positive or Negative, Masculine or Feminine.

The black part is the part of the mother, which is a mysterious powerful force, and the white part is a more visible spectrum or the masculine part, this isn’t being sexist or discriminator in colour (if you don’t know 95% of the cosmos is dark matter which isn’t visible and only 5% is visible matter the stars, planets and all other stuff.

"Yin and Yang" are present in both Men and Women, the unconscious masculine part in women is called "Animus" and the unconscious feminine part in males is called "Anima"(This theory is given by the great psychologist Carl Jung). This could be seen with the black side of the circle with a white dot and the white part with a black dot in the "Yin-Yang" symbol.

Eg- Consider a mug...... so yang is the material part of the mug, but if you consider what’s important in a mug, it's the space which we use to fill our coffee or tea, but the material part is also necessary to hold the coffee.........or you can take the example of an Atom, The nucleus containing proton and neutron which is surrounded by electrons that are negatively charged.

You are only pretty when you compare it with someone ugly, If you taste delicious food that’s only because you had a sour or bitter dish in the past. Yin is looked down in society which is receptiveness, cessation, and passivity but if you closely look at it without "Cessation" action cannot be of higher efficiency.

Eg - You working out in the gym is the "Yang" element but taking rest and recovery is the "Yin" element so that you are fully recovered to train the next day.

Eg - We need pauses in sound to separate the tones, we cannot enter a room that is not empty, without vast emptiness in space, galaxies cannot exist.

Consider a flower that is majority "Yin" but also has a "Yang" component, waiting to be pollinated by a bee that is "Yang" but also has a "Yin" component.

"Yin and Yang" compliment, regulate, create, and support each other.

Eg —Shiva in Hinduism is also known as "Ardhanarishwara" I.e Half male and Half female

Shiva is the "Yang part(masculine)" and Shakti is the "Yin part(feminine)".

Eg —An overly enthusiastic salesman frightens away his clients, overly possessive girlfriend or boyfriend destroys the relationship so sometimes backing off or inaction is more important than action.

There is no duality, everything carries its opposite within itself as a constant interaction.
